Welcome to The Feast!

We’re a member-based organization that hosts dinners around the world exploring fullness. Each dinner invites artists to help us inquire into what we’re hungry for and what real fulfillment and satisfaction feels like.

Each dinner also creates impact, nourishing people and the planet. All guests are invited by the community and invited to donate to a local partner organization working on food security, regenerative agriculture and providing physical and spiritual nourishment to those in need.

Our April dinners are brought to you in collaboration with the following artists and community members:

 

Host // Alex F. Andrew Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Builder at Venture Central

Alex Andrew has been a soldier, a diplomat, and most recently an entrepreneurial ecosystem builder. He is a lifelong public servant, driven by a desire to create prosperity and security through sustainable economic development. Since January 2022, he has led Venture Central, a Charlottesville-based entrepreneurial support organization backed by the City, County, University, and Commonwealth of Virginia. Prior to taking the position, he designed and ran an accelerator for rural entrepreneurs at the Shenandoah Community Capital Fund.

 

Beneficiary // Yolunda Harrell CEO of the New Hill Development Corp


Yolunda Harell leverages over 24 years of profit management, staff development, external and internal customer experiences, and community engagement to help entrepreneurs establish solid foundations for growth and improve profitability. She is a community leader, having a founding hand in several successful initiatives that serve early stage businesses and entrepreneurs with a focus on under served populations. Yolunda has established for profit and nonprofit businesses, and is experienced in project and team management from startup enterprises to multi million dollar projects. She has developed and executed strategic revenue, marketing, and business strategies in existing, transitional, and start-up assets from$1M to $12M in annual revenues whilst simultaneously leading teams ranging from 15 to 90 members.

Thistlerock Mead Company

Special thanks to Thistlerock Mead Company for hosting - a nature-based mead and honey company opening in 2023, co-located with Wayflowering, a regenerative flower farm in Charlottesville, VA, providing pathways for refugees to build beautiful, fulfilling careers.

This dinner Benefit New Hills Beacon Food Incubator

This dinner benefits BEACON Kitchen, a project by New Hill Development Corporation which has a vision of expanding economic opportunities that redefines wealth for a thriving Black community. The Black Entrepreneurial Advancement and Community Opportunity Network (BEACON) is a business incubator and accelerator developed by New Hill to advance opportunities for Black entrepreneurs. BEACON’s Kitchen will be a 10,000 sqft shared-use commercial kitchen supporting up to 70 food businesses of all demographics through all the phases of development and growth.

We invite guests to make a donation - 100% of donations go to fund the work of our partner non-profit.
